At 1 am on my birthday today I got a call from my brother's nursing home that they were sending him to the hospital ER. It turns out he has pancreatitis and a UTI, he's in the ICU. I didn't need this on my birthday. Please pray for him, and for me.
Prayers for all here. I had a very nasty turn today. Very giddy and feel sick. Heart attack, stroke? Effects of 65 year-old brain damage? Who knows? .... phoning 111 is hopeless and I'm not brave, patient, holy or strong enough to face A&E. Resting up and sleeping, waking and praying for oh so many.
Bugger!!

IANAD!!! But google Ménière's Disease. And TIA (transient ischaemic attack). And see yr GP/primary care physician at the earliest opportunity. Exactly my symptoms more than 25 years ago. Now I'd be deaf as a post without a cochlear implant.
I don’t know where in North Carolina K is, but I can assure you there are very good hospitals and very good surgeons here.
I have no doubt @Nick Tamen . We actually went last year,. and indeed he grew up in Winston-Salem, but hospitals were not involved. He's in North Durham
My brother T has a cyst on his pancreas as a result of the pancreatitis. If it resolves with treatment (antibiotics, painkillers, and fluids) well and good; if not, they may have to do surgery. Please pray it should resolve, and quickly. I'm supposed to leave on a trip on the 10th, and I can't if he's having surgery.
Praying always for all of us who ask, and for those who don't or can't.
I'm waiting for a reply to an email I sent to my brother who lives in Thailand. Hopefully he and his family and neighbors have not been affected by the earthquake(s).

I had a longish discussion with a farmer yesterday. He is doing it tough, as are many others: farmers or otherwise. Prayers for those who give us our food for strength amid difficult circumstances. And indeed all involved in food and drink from transport to factories to stores. And farmers.

Glad to hear it went well. Praying the colostomy bag is indeed temporary.
An issue today with wound packing, but resolved. Recuperating. Will try to grade some stuff later but not right now.
Still praying for you, @ChastMastr , for peace and healing, of mind, body, spirit and heart
Very glad to read this update on K and continued prayers for him and for @ThunderBunk .
