I’m sitting at my 97-year-old aunt’s bedside. She has dementia, and I have her power of attorney. I got a call this morning about a sudden change and decline last night, which indicates the end is near. They’re doing what they can to make her comfortable. Prayers for a peaceful death would be appreciated.

My brother T is being transferred from the hospital back to the nursing home where he will receive hospice care from an outside agency. Family is coming to visit him, which is great.

We've got a very sick dog (probable pancreatitis) which is causing knock-on stress in our family during Holy Week, our busiest time. Nobody's happy and everybody's worried and stressed. Please pray?

Snoopy is still refusing to eat, to the point where she refused a third pill treat (she's not very bright, so I don't THINK she figured out it had medicine in it!). The doctor doesn't seem very much concerned, though I will call again if she's still not eating by tomorrow morning--other than pill treats, I mean. She is drinking, which is good.
