@Piglet At least we've been spared Chrissie Evert talking about "Wimpletun"
True!
My other gripe about the Raducanu match was that Ms Sabalenka was just so bloody noisy!!! I mean, we all remember Jimmy Connors' grunts, and those of Monica Seles, but this was taking it to whole new decibel levels!

Monica Seles - there's a name from the past. As I recall, Jennifer Capriati once memorably vented Just shut the f**k up mid-match 🤣😂🤣
I could barely detect any debate in the article. The "scheduling" argument is bizarre. You might as well say there's no time to play 5-set men's tennis.
Everyone, except it appears from the author of that article, would think that a natural consequence of women's tennis going to five sets rather than three is that it women's competitions would take longer. Judging from typical durations of current matches, moving the women's game to best of five would roughly double the court time that the women would need.
So perhaps that adds an extra three days on to Wimbledon, or perhaps you need to come up with a few extra courts.

I'm not sure there's much point in shouting "C'mon Timmy" when he's one of the commentators ...

I missed the rest of the details as I was too busy retrieving my jaw from the drivers side footwell.
That has just brought forth a loud guffaw!
(NB. *is in the Oxford and Cambridge English Dictionaries. Just sayin'.)
