🙄Something went wrong with the system. I played a fast game with all correct, but it said ‘invalid game’ and locked me out. I played again and it gave me a time of over 100 seconds 🤷🏻♀️
You must be one of those good children who phones their Mum on Mother's Day. Mine taught me that the day was called Mothering Sunday, that it was nothing to do with parenthood, and that she would be mortally offended if I worshipped at the altar of the great god Hallmark by sending her a card on that day. Phoning her? Also out of the question.
And co-incidentally, I did OK out of the scoring system. I came seventh, but because @Tree Bee came twelfth I made a six point gain on them. I love the vagaries of this quiz format (sometimes).
@Anna_Baptist It is Mothering Sunday in the UK, always on the 4th Sunday in Lent. It began in the 15th century as a time when people visited their "mother church", the place where they were baptised. Its foundation probably came due to disappearance of serfdom, which resulted in many working far from their family home: Mothering Sunday was a chance to return to their mother church and see family. More recently, it has widened to include a celebration of the BVM.
In the USA "Mothers' Day", on the 2nd Sunday in June, was started to mark the contribution of mothers to society and became an annual event in 1908.
In the UK the busiest day for 'phone calls is Christmas Day.

I chose the wrong president - I thought about the right one but decided it wasn’t him 🤦
But at least my final choices were right.
Misread one question - prepositions are soooo important - and hit the question I always get wrong
On the bright side... there is no bright side.
Will I remember it this time next year? Probably not ... 🙃

Thank you, @Anna_Baptist!
My mother probably would have disagreed with you about me being one of the good children!
