The Shakespeare question was clearly written by an American - the distinction between comedy & tragedy is nuanced in his writing, there is one in particular in that list that I have seen performed in both genres. All his ‘comedies’ turn dark and sour but most American directors don’t get this. Sure we all saw their ‘obvious’ answer though.

Yes. All down to the First Folio divisions. His plays don’t fit the neat trinity but they tried, people then took it too seriously. The Shrew has been produced as both a sick comedy and a tragedy over the years. All the ‘comedies’ turn dark or sour. Very clever and challenging writing.
