@Sighthound - Thinking of you. Hoping you have other loving people available for support.
Yesterday at the hospital was frustrating. I'm back home now but will possibly need further surgery, in a few months. My feedback form to the hospital recommended doubling the salary of all the staff who looked after me.

Grandson Huxley/ Little Beaky is facing some challenging health stuff (his seizures are very bad again) and he is quite distressed by it all so prayers very much appreciated as the Medics try to sort things out.
Please remember in your prayers C, my grandson, 23, who is to have a second tumour removed today. The first one was benign, but it is not known if this is the same, or worse.

the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
+ the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
The walls of houses of prayer and praise, everywhere, are echoing with Christine's songs. May the God of all comfort bring you peace as we weep with you 🙏 🕯️

Update from Kenji: His partner Vern is alive and getting radiation treatments. The lung cancer has spread to his spine and lymph nodes, though.
Please pray.
Renee, mentioned a while back, is improving. Still, please pray.
Dominic spent 3 days in the hospital being ill. He’s better but please pray.
My own foot wound and the other one are improving as of this past Monday, and when the urologist looked at the other one, he said that he doesn’t think it needs to be packed anymore. Still, please pray…
I have left the mental health unit. I can echo Huia's call for a doubling of nursing staff salaries. I have an appointment with the mental health team Tuesday. Taking a camping break this weekend a little up north.
@Nick Tamen this is a good question, but in a good way, in that he is starting to do things and I am hearing from him less - and I'm not hearing that the reduction in contact is because everything has gone horribly wrong. As far as I know, he is still in considerable pain but starting to function more normally. The operation seems to have been a success, thankfully.
He's out of hospital and at large somewhere in the environs of Raleigh, NC.
Catching up with the prayer requests.
Please pray for a suitable outcome for the sale of Nicholaston House on the Gower. It is currently owned by Swansea City Mission but is closed as it needs so many repairs. SCM were going to sell it to the retreat organisers/missionary group we’re involved with but they’ve had an offer of the full asking price.
@Climacus, I hope the camping weekend is relaxing and restorative.
Thank you. Had a sample trip last weekend to see how I went away from hospital on my own...; it was very relaxing -- and restorative is a good word*. I spoke to the mental health care team about another one earlier this week and they seemed positive. I'll let them know at my appointment next Tuesday should it be a disaster ha ha!
* I think I mentioned my priest grew up regionally and is very much a city person; he makes humourous comments about my desire to flee civilisation...

Update from Kenji: His partner Vern is coming home to have as much quality of life as he can, with people who love him, for as long as he has left. It could be any amount of time, though he suggested “it could be months” as the maximum.

((( @Huia ))) Hospitals are full of wonderful caring people. I'm grateful to learn they took care of you well!
Praying also for Little Beaky and all the Beakies, and for @Puzzler 's C. May this tumour also be benign.

@ThunderBunk, how is K?

I trust he’s with friends or in rehab or something like that, and not just roaming around Raleigh.

Good news. Glad he is with friends and doing the work he hoped to do.
