My sister has just come home from hospital for palliative care. I will setting off at first light to drive to visit her for likely the last time. Will the Lord be right there in the midst of it all. I'm believing for that. 🙏
God go with you. Christ's love surround and protect you both. The holy spirit fill the room as you are together.

For all those in Jamaica, but in particular my distant cousin and FB friend K, on holiday there. She was supposed to fly home tomorrow, managed to book onto an earlier flight on Sunday, but the Sunday flight was cancelled. The hotel she's in does seem to be as organised as it's possible to be.

For the people of Jamaica and all affected by the hurricane. In particular @North East Quine's cousin FB and friend K, and the airline and all airlines, and the hotel and all hotels.
I had a real answer to prayer this morning just as I reached a breaking point. After a shocking six weeks since my last interview, I now have an interview next Wednesday for a job that looks like it would meet all my needs. I usually treat interviews as expendable, but I unfortunately have to pin all my hopes on this one.
Thanks also for a recent opportunity to earn a small bit of money. I needed that.
And for wisdom and accuracy from me in certain critical matters of admin.
The Telemum is effectively bedbound now, and can't see well enough to read much, and still hasn't learned how to work the remote control, and just in general she can't do much and spends a lot of time staring at a blank screen in silence. Surely this can be improved, but nothing seems to work, somehow?
This bit of admin I'm doing I think it would be healthier for her to do, but it has to be me because a) she physically can't reach the filing cabinet b) it's critical not to put one's foot in it, and at least if I'm the one doing the work I have only my own foot to blame. So… it's like that.
We've got a lot of stress right now--financial, also Mr Lamb's sister who was said to be dying September 29 and is still with us, possibly even improving slightly, but unconscious. Also, our son LL, who is trying to decide if he should go to grad school, or what he ought to do, since his health insurance will run out next year.
For P, who is mid-80s, with significant sight loss, (not quite legally blind but certainly not far from it when last we met,) and currently reported as missing via my local police's social media sites.
Please uphold cb, who after 23 years with a charity that has its national HQ locally, has been made redundant. She remains optimistic and is applying for other charity posts and intends to set up as a freelance copywriter and editor. But she’s the main breadwinner as her husband is disabled.

My sister died at home yesterday with her husband and children there. It appears the palliative care (usual syringe driver medication) was effective.
I was able to get there shortly after she died. MS can be so cruel...
Bless you for your prayers.
