We’ve got the expected worries coming up—about five at least of our fathers-and-husbands in the community are now facing a strong likelihood of being deported (and breaking up their families) as the result of stupid teenage stuff they did many years ago and haven’t repeated. One is a pastor who will leave his church pastor-less—a huge concern for an immigrant congregation without a ready supply of pastors to replace him.
Oh @Lamb Chopped I am so sorry, this is heartbreaking.

Difficult relative is difficulting. She's having a bad time with her physical health. I can understand how miserable and frustrating it is, but lashing out at all and sundry is not helping.

Oh God
Just had an update from my daughter. They had to take our grandson (Huxley/ Little Beaky's brother) to A and E as pain was building behind both his eyes. They discovered that the process for getting the MRI hadn't been fully instigated so in effect they've lost a week. They were told they are looking for tumours, the MRI is now urgent but could take anything up to three weeks.
Please pray.
Just received this from my daughter:
"Just got to Huxley’s school for his back to school assessment, and the doctor from yesterday just called to say we need to bring O in at 10:30am today to see the neuro team"
Just had an update from my daughter. They did an ultrasound today and two doctors disagreed about what it shows and one even mentioned someone else dying in front of our little grandson who is like a sponge and is now scared!! MRI is now scheduled for Friday.
Thank you all for your support.

Please pray for an old colleague of mine, HM, who seems to be going downhill with various undiagnosed ailments. H is very tired and not at all like his old vibrant self. His wife, S, is also none too well.
For healing, restoration and a successful completion of our joint projects!

I've had (to date) four heart valve operations. Two 'open heart', two 'keyhole'. Not easy. So my prayers (so to speak) have beeen 'heartfelt'. Very pleased Ian's went well.
Update on K: surgery was postponed from Thursday to Friday. So far all seems to be going well with recovery. Today (Saturday) able to sit in a chair and chat to visitors.
Went to see our grandson O this afternoon prior to his brain MRI tomorrow. He was busy showing us his skateboarding skills whilst I tried not to see a vulnerable little five year old boy. His wonderful parents are calm but under so much pressure. Big brother Huxley is a little bit under the weather.
Grateful for your prayers dear Shipmates!

Update from my daughter just in:
"MRI done but not very successful. The sedation didn’t work properly(doesn’t for Huxley either!) and all it’s done is make him high. He was just laughing at everything and asking tons of questions. He kept moving his bed up/down, kicking his legs out the bed when we were on the move so almost hurting himself."
The hope is that the results will show them enough but if not it will need another attempt 😬
Thank you for your prayers
Sorry to pray and run, but the Telemum's heart failure-related oedema is getting worse since she had to reduce her diuretics, because they're starting to trash her kidneys.
They put her on Ramipril, she was on it for two days, seemed (to me) to improve dramatically, but she *felt* worse, and was apparently told to stop it.
Now is visibly dramatically worse, ridiculously oedematous and totally unable to sleep. I think she should restart the Ramipril but what do I know?
Something's got to get better, quickly please (sigh)
