🙏 For H, whose husband died just after Christmas.🕯️
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.
Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the souls of C and B, two friends from our time at Belfast Cathedral (C was Vicar Choral for some time, and B was for many years a member of the choir), both of whom have died recently.
Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon them.

The 18th didn't happen. Sorry about that, I hope the unexpected jump to the 19th didn't cause too many problems. I will now be seen on the 23rd. My ambition to resolve all of my bad habits has fallen a little short of fulfilment, shall we say.
The Telemum has spoken to the GP because she had several hours of breathlessness this afternoon. At the very end of the conversation she let drop that she also had breathlessness this morning, and when the conversation was over she let drop that she had woken in the middle of the night with breathlessness. I know this is all only going in one direction, but I would so like the Telemum to live as long as she wants to, and want to as long as she lives, and for that to be a long time yet.
I really need to save a great deal of money and it's not clear how I will accomplish this in the time I have available.
Most of all I need more discipline and better standards.
I've just been dx'ed with severe sleep apnea, and will have to learn to use a CPAP--and I have a phobia about anything that constrains my breathing. There is a second person in my family (redacted for privacy) who is in the same boat at the same time.
This really isn't an easy six weeks we're having.

I am not offering medical advice, but simply suggest that getting a second opinion is a good idea.
Hugs you!!
Prayers for all here, especially LC at this most challenging time. Take heart - I too used a lightweight CAP for some years and found it quite comforting and of immense benefit.
Prayers for all that need them and cannot ask.
I have been using a CPAP machine for relief from Obstructive Sleep Apnoea for about 27 years. I am on my third machine. The modern machines, with computerised control of pressure (reacting to your breathing), are much better than the earlier, purely mechanical, ones (where you had to breathe out against the pressure).
It was devastating to be diagnosed with sleep apnea and to find I had to sleep with the machine, however, it has been absolutely amazing! Now, I can't sleep without the thing!
I hope you find relief and more restful sleep when you use it, LC.
Praying for all to go well for you!
And for Grandson W, who has been recalled by the police today. Waiting to see what charges are made.
Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer.
I've just received an email from my youngest brother K saying that our oldest brother G has been admitted to hospital and doesn't seem to be responding to anti=biotics. G also has Parkinsons which has steadily worsened over the last year.
