Hello all! I am a returnee after many years. Went MIA for a few reasons, not least the pasting I got here on my first visit! Maybe those people have gone, or the place is more tolerant these days: I hope so.
On my very first visit to the Ship I unwisely trolled a troll I knew from another forum and took a thorough beating for it. But I soon got a feel for the place and was glad I did. I've always felt it was a weird mixture or earnest intellectuals and harmless lunatics, plus a few just confused, like me - my comfort zone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I'm an Anglican priest and currently, after thirty years in parish ministry, fulfilling a chaplaincy role. I live in south London with my dog, cat, and lots of tropical fish.
