Would value a prayer for situation re my mum (89) in a care home and having yet another mental health crisis refusing care etc and they are talking about hospital (again!) but I think this should be avoided. Challenging for me and my younger sister (who have LPA for her) to manage the situation. 🙏

thanks for your concern. Heart (ATF) is sorta NTB (though BP all over the place). I have two procedures to investigate possible colorectal cancer next week. One starting from one orifice, the other from the other (the correct medical term is 'innuendo' I believe). OK ... I wish I felt braver but (as you know) one does get ground down.

Beloved grandson Little Beaky/ Huxley became seriously unwell this morning during a hideous prolonged seizure. Thank God for the expertise of his parents and care team and for the wonderful NHS paramedics- he is still with us but another seizure like this one could easily take him.

Update on Little Beaky/ Huxley. He's on the children's ward on IV fluids and meds and currently stable. He even managed a smile.

Just heard the hospital are discharging Huxley as he can be cared for best at home as they are so well set up for his needs and his care team are led by a nurse. Still a way to go but Thank God.

🙏 for peace and assurance for C, that her mother and father are safe in God's care. And 🙏🙏 for all Shipmates who share and carry burdens on this page. You are fulfilling the Law of Christ.
So sad. I met her some years back when she visited the UK. More recently she sent me some dried chiles which she grew, and I have been using them in our cooking as a kind of prayer for her.
