Thanks again for prayers, friends. I have now arrived back home after some very long days. It was a great experience, but I am tired, and there’ll be no rest until we get past the 4th.
Glad it was a good experience @Nick Tamen, you have been in my thoughts
Prayers for all here, catching up with posts
Please pray for us in South Africa right now, the xenophobic ignorance, bigotry and violence is horrifying. I have never felt so ashamed of my local community's volatile reactions and police ineptitude.
For all in need of prayer, for all struggling with faith
Mrs Sioni’s knee continues to give her pain but the physio did send her for an X-ray so she filled in the form and did it straightaway. Thank God one only has to complete the form and turn up. They will send the results to our GP in a couple of weeks.
She has also signed on for a hydrotherapy course and as she can drive ok, she has booked a few sessions.
No further strong painkillers, but she is keeping one back, just in case.
It’s breaking me up seeing her like this. I have to rely on her too, but like her sisters and her late mother she gets on with it. Is it wrong to say a woman is tough?

As it happens, one day this past week, the stated clerk read to the Assembly a letter she had received the previous evening from a partner church in southern Africa—I’m afraid I can’t recall which one—about the situation in South Africa. We did pray for you.
As tomorrow, July 4, is the United States 250th anniversary, ona Saturday, with lots of things going on that have an uncomfortable, nasty political edge to them and lots of things going on that have a whole massive number of people perhaps larger than we might have in other years, please pray for: everyone to be safe. Because (apart from people blowing up their fingers or causing accidental fires, or drinking and driving) this could be a very scary opportunity for scary people with weapons to start doing horrible things with those crowds. For the animals who are affected by fireworks, whether pets or wildlife (please keep pets indoors). For the country to (please, dear Jesus, please save us and help us from this nightmare) get better somehow.
Amen!
Mrs Vole is tough, like Mrs Sioni (-and of course millions of women in this world rife with discrimination) -so tough I often forget to pray for her...

Thumbs up!
Plus a sick and elderly cat owned by Ryan.
🕯🕯🕯
Both cats are improving!! (Please keep praying though. Nichole’s daughter is now also sick.)
Please pray for Tim H., who is going through a host of troubles all at once.
Thanks!
